I apologize to anyone interested in any pieces shown here on this site, as they are merely representative of my work, as my name has changed. Sunny Pea is a trade name I created years ago when I lived in Sunapee, NH (“Sunny Pea” / “Sunapee”). I now live in Minnesota, the state I grew up in, but I kept the name, building a brand for myself and an online presence.
About Me:
I am both a Graphic Designer and Fine Artist skilled in several artistic mediums, including computer graphics, web design and painting in oils and acrylics. I believe my ability for one richly enhances the other.
I thrive at being challenged in a fast paced environment, love working with others to concept new ideas, enjoy seeing projects to completion and have a high standard of work ethic, making sure the job gets done and the customer is completely happy.
I have both B2C and B2B experience. In my fine arts experience, I have paintings, prints and drawings in private collections around the world and with my skills in graphic design, brand building, communication and visual presentation I have helped many businesses across the country. For example, as a former co-owner, I helped build a company (KNS Instruments) from being a basement industry to the thriving business that it is today. An electronics company, we started as a reseller of digital panel meters to become the manufacturer and supplier to several companies that private label KNS products. Over the years I wore many hats - in both the creative and the admin side - everything from the company logo and branding, creating advertisements, catalogs, data sheets, websites, social media updates, and even product design to running to the post office, spearheading major mailings, answering the phone on occasion and other office work. I was Secretary of the Corporation for several years and kept meeting records.
I have traveled across the country, lived in 4 different states (6 if you count two winters) and now am back to the state I was born in, and living in Rochester, Minnesota. I’ve been to a few different countries, both for business and pleasure and my travels have added to my life experience and inspiration.

• show a positive message to a world that has trouble seeing beyond negativity.
• create as I have been created.
• show gratitude in all I do.
• express the commonality of our shared human experience and show the possibility of its sacredness.
• help others see the beauty they might have overlooked.
